Introduction
At Stepps we understand that it is not just the sufferer who can be deeply affected by addiction. The trauma threads its way through relationships with loved ones and impacts on the individual's workplace, often leading to disastrous consequences. Our Family Support and Workplace Support programmes offer a reaching hand to people whose lives have been affected by someone else's addiction.
For the client, the recovery process does not end when they leave Stepps, it becomes a way of life and our Aftercare Co-ordinator ensures that the support is available to enable a safe and effective, long term recovery. Stepps has a good relationship with the county's fellowship meetings and we encourage all of our clients to establish an ongoing support network during and after treatment.
