May 2008 - Stepps Reunion Hits the Mark!

Stepps’ annual reunion on Saturday, which brought over 80 past and present clients and their family members together, was a resounding success according to Mike Delaney, Clinical Director of the Minsterworth residential rehabilitation centre:

“It’s incredible to see so many people here from all walks of life enjoying the opportunity to return to Stepps and reunite with ex-peers and counsellors. This is the positive side of addiction that you don’t see in the media; you see all the negatives - drunks in parks and celebrity breakdowns - but this is what Stepps is about, helping addiction sufferers through each stage of rehabilitation, and today has played a very important role in that process for many people.”

Guests at the full-day event enjoyed a barbeque lunch, 'share' sessions led by past clients, a yoga demonstration and a special appearance from 'Connie', one of Stepps' EAP horses.
